New Clothing and Treehouse Catalog

Hey Pandas! As told in the Newsletter for March, a new clothing and treehouse catalog is out! Many clothes are from the old catalogs with new colours. To buy these items travel to The Clothing Co. in East Market Street and click on Fitch. Here are the first two pages:
The only item added in the Treehouse Catalog is Egg Chairs like the ones the Easter Bunny is giving but in different colours and for 50 Panda Gold:
Awesome, I would appreciate it if a Baseball Cap was brought back.

Easter Egg Hunt 2012!
Look out for the Basket icon in it in the top right corner, under the map icon, click it and this pop-up will appear.
Easter Eggs appear anywhere in Pandanda (except for treehouses, of course!) exactly like Golden Tickets, fruit and dirt. They also appear a lot faster than Golden Tickets though! You can even collect eggs while fishing!
A strategy I use is to switch rooms often and stay in indoor rooms (The Den, Book Nook etc.) They can appear at any time, even when you're doing Quests!
When you've collected at least 2 eggs, go to West Market Street and click on the Easter Bunny to trade them in for your required prizes
I'm really impressed by this year's prizes! My favourites are probably the Easter Chick Staff and Easter Chick Cap! I think the Chick House is pretty nice as well. But all the prizes are cool anyways.
If you can't see the prizes here's a list of them and their egg prices:
Easter Chick Staff - 100 eggs + Level 10
Easter Chick Cap - 50 eggs
Chick Slippers - 50 eggs
Bunny Slippers - 50 eggs
Chick House - 75 eggs

Altogether there are 400 eggs to collect if you want everything! You'd better start collecting if you want to get them all! In my opinion I think that the prizes are worth getting all the eggs. ^.^
The Easter Bunny has brought back the Super Bunny Potion, which, for those of you who don't know, is a potion that turns you into a giant bunny! You can also become a Super Bunny by drinking the normal Bunny Potion along with the Dragon Tears Potion!
The Easter Egg Hunt is one of my favourite festivals, along with the Halloween and Christmas Festival! It kind of sucks that there are no decorations, but I guess there's not much decorations the Pandanda Team could think of.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt Starts Friday!
Hey Pandas! Henry's made a new post about the Easter Egg Hunt, check it out:
Each year, spring brings warmer weather, fresh green grass, and beautiful flowers. And in Pandanda, spring also brings the Easter Bunny! Yes, that giant pink Bunny will be back in Pandandaland this Friday, hiding brightly colored eggs all over the place (except in treehouses).
Then the fun really begins! Collect as many eggs in your basket as you can, then visit E.Bunny in West Market Street to trade them for his springtime prizes! I wonder what surprises he will have for us this year? I guess we will all find out on Friday!
I'm hopping with excitement!

Spring Background Contest Winner(s)
Hey Pandas! As you probably know the Spring Background Contest has been a huge hit in Pandanda and today the winners have been announced. Check Henry's post out:
The judges have finished their judging for the Spring Theme Player Card Contest, and once again, you made it a very hard job for us! We really enjoyed looking at all of the cute, creative, and interesting designs submitted. So, in addition to choosing one Grand Prize Winner, we also chose five Honorable Mentions!
The GRAND PRIZE WINNER of the 2012 Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest is:

Zing Ballyhoo Mystery Prize #69!
Hey Pandas! Zing Ballyhoo has released his 69th prize! Don't know who Zing is? Read on! Zing Ballyhoo is a rich travelling Panda who gives out a prize or 500 coins in exchange of 10 golden tickets (the prizes are rare and will NOT come back to Pandanda!) Golden tickets come like fruit and quest items and appear in any room except your treehouse and come at any time! Zing Ballyhoo is a Pandanda resident located in Treehouse Lobby outside his gold and blue tent. Zing releases new prizes every Monday at 12:01 PD time.

To check how much Golden tickets you've collected all together, click the Golden ticket icon under the map:
Once you have all 10 Golden tickets, proceed to the Treehouse Lobby:

St. Patrick's Day 2012!
Hey Pandas! Today is St. Patrick's Day and Pandanda has added an item in the Clothing Catalog, but first read Henry's post:
If you haven't gotten Zing Ballyhoo's prize yet, you still have a couple of days to collect 10 Golden Tickets to trade to him for his prize. Zing will have a brand new prize first thing Monday morning, but you can still get his first prize until Sunday evening.
All of your entries for the Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest have been downloaded and are now in the hands of the judges. We are going to have a very hard time choosing a winner from so many excellent submissions. I will announce the winner here in my blog on Wednesday, March 21st. Good luck to everyone who entered!
You should also mark your calendars for next Tuesday's Welcome Spring Party! I will be making some visits during the day to help you all celebrate the first day of Spring. I will let you know soon at what time I will visit.

New/Old Clothing Catalog and Pot Of Gold

I love this new catalog, especially the snowboarding items, I'm quite surprised that the St. Patrick's day glasses and shirt is back as it was one of Zing Ballyhoo's prizes. Weird.

Mystery Mail and Hat Day!
Hey Pandas! Have you checked your calendars yet because a Pandanda Resident is coming back to Pandanda after a long journey with prizes! Don't know who I'm talking about? Read Henry's post below and you'll find out!

I received an interesting letter in the mail today. There was no name or return address, and all the message said was "See you on Monday!" It was written on the back of this:

LOL, well, of course, we all know which of our Pandanda citizens that Golden Ticket belongs to - the amazing Zing Ballyhoo! Zing will be setting up his gold and blue tent in Pandanda for a short visit starting Monday, March 12th. He will scatter Golden Tickets all over Pandanda for you to collect and trade to him for his always unique prizes!
Zing's gold top hat is one of his most unmistakable features. To help us get into the spirit for Zing's return, let's have a cool Hat Day this Friday! Start looking through your closet to find your favorite hat. Can't pick just one favorite? That's ok! Wear them all (one at a time, of course!)

Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest!
Hey Pandas! It's time for the first Elite Contest of 2012! I'm so excited. Henry wrote a long post of all the rules and requirements, check it out:

Let's get this month off to a great start with the first contest of 2012 - a Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest!
The theme of your background should be Springtime. If you like, you can suggest a simple animation for your background (for example, the falling snow on the village scene in last year's Winter Festival background.)
For hand-drawn entries, we suggest that you first print a copy of thetemplate, and then create your drawing on that. Hand-drawn images will need to be scanned into your computer or turned into a digital picture using a digital camera so they can be emailed to us. If you use a camera to take a picture of your drawing, make sure it is well-lit and in focus. We want to be able to see your drawing at its best!
All entries must be emailed to us in the format of a digital image (in one of the following formats: jpg, gif, tiff, bmp, pdf, png). Entries that are not in one of those formats will be disqualified.
There is a limit of one entry per email address (the one you used when you created your panda) per day. Entries must be received atcontest@pandanda.com no later than 11:59pm PST on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 21st in my Blog.
One Grand Prize will be awarded by our panel of judges.
The Grand Prize winner will have their design turned into an actual player card background by our graphic artists to be used in the game, and will also receive:

To submit your entry (have your parent or guardian help you):
- Read and obey the rules. Entering the competition means that you and your parent/guardian agree to the rules. A complete list of the rules can be found here. If you are under 13 years old, please ask your parent or guardian to review them with you, along with our website Terms of Use, specifically with regard to the use of submissions you send to us.
- Ask your parent or guardian to email your entry to contest@pandanda.com from their email address, the one they used when they signed you up for Pandanda. Your entry MUST come from the email address that we have on file for your Pandanda account.You can see what that email address is by logging into your Account Management page.
- Type the words "Player Card Drawing Contest" in the subject line of the email.
- Type your Panda name in the text of the email for example "Panda Name: Paige."
- Do NOT include your real name, house address, phone number, or password.
- Email your entry for Pandanda to receive it no later thanWednesday, March 14th at 11:59pm, Pacific Standard Time (PST). You may only send in one entry per Pandanda account per day.
