Leap Day and Farmer Ned selling Pumpkins!

Hey Pandas! If you didn't know, this year is a leap year, which is a year with one extra day to make 366 days. Henry posted more about this:

Hey Friends!

I hope you enjoyed the extra day of the Friendship Festival - a surprise from me to you! Maybe it gave you a little more time to get that prize you were still working on!

Tomorrow is February the 29th - Leap Day! About every four years, we have a Leap Year, which is a year with one extra day in it. That day is added to the shortest month, making February have 29 days instead of 28. Poor February- even with an extra day, it is still the shortest month!

I want to see some pictures of you and your friends Leaping for Leap Day in Pandanda! Snap a cool screenshot of leaping pandas and send it to me at screenshots@pandanda.com. Put Leap Day in the subject line, and make sure to include your panda name. I'll choose some to post in my Blog, and put them all in a photo album for everyone to see! Please, just send one or two of your best pictures, and make sure to mail them to me by 11:59pm Pandanda Time on Wednesday, February 29th.

What? You don't know how to make your panda leap? Just use the "j" key on your keyboard or use the Animations menu and choose the jumping panda!

In other news, remember the Pumpkin Festival? Have you noticed that Farmer Ned has been selling Pumpkins ever since the festivals finished? I'm thinking this is now a permanent thing. Check out this picture:

Last Day of Friendship Festival!

Hey Pandas! I hope you've had fun collecting Friendship Bracelets and making new friends because today is the final day of the Friendship Festival until 2013 but that doesn't mean you can start being mean to your friends, lol. Here is Henry's post:

Hello to all my Panda Friends!

I hope you have enjoyed the Friendship Festival this year. You still have until just before midnight Pandanda Time today to collect bracelets and trade them to Lucy at the Fishing Hole for her cool prizes! When Lucy leaves she will take her prizes with her, so don't wait!

According to your votes on the Favorite Friendship FestPrize, the Animated Heart Sunglasses are your favorite prize, followed by the Red Heart Chair and the Purple Heart Chair.

Mod Jozie really loves her purple heart chair, animated heart sunglasses, and bouquet of flowers. Looks like her pet dragons kind of like them, too!

Hmmm, I like all of the purple hues in Jozie's tree house. I wonder if her favorite color is purple, too!

Game Day!

Hey Pandas! Henry has announced yet another Game Day event in Pandanda! On this day you can earn double the amount of coins you earn regularly in all games: The Ghosts of Misty hill, Bunny Catching, Line 4, Pen The Pig and many more!

Pandanda Moderators will be hosting as many games as they can fit into their shifts, which gives you extra chances to win Panda Gold. Instead of winning 25 Panda Gold for 1st place and 10 Gold for 2nd, Moderators will be giving away 250 Gold for 1st place and 100 Gold for 2nd. Check out Henry's post for more info:

I hope you have your bunny nets and ghost-catching backpacks ready, because you are going to need them today! During Game Day you can earn double coins for Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill, and for Pen the Pig and Line4, too!

If you find a Moderator hosting a special game of Bunny Chase or Ghosts of Misty Hill today, you have a chance to win 250 Panda Gold! You can look for Moderators (and me!) to be hosting as many games as we can fit in between the hours of 5am-8am Pandanda Time, 9am-12pm Pandanda Time, 2-3pm Pandanda Time, and 4-8pm Pandanda Time. Games can be on any server, and we will be jumping from server to server to give lots of pandas the chance to win! Remember, you can win ONE time from each Moderator.

I'll be in Pandanda from 5-7am Pandanda Time, then once more from 7-8pm Pandanda Time. You can click on each link to see what time it will be where you live.

Friendship Festival 2012!

Hey Pandas! Well, Pandanda has been hosting a few parties, but, this one has to be my favourite and most loved - The Friendship Festival! I've already have a sneak peek around the land and I'll give you a clue about the object you must collect in this poem I made up at the top of my head,

Friendship should always expand

So wear these colourful bands

Yup, the Friendship Bracelets/Bands have been scattered all over Pandanda hoping for you to find them! Extra Quests have been provided in order for you to reach even more Panda Power! (A guide to complete these Quests will be coming everyday)

Beneath the Map icon is a Friendship Bracelet showing you the amount of Bracelets you've collected altogether (Bracelets are not removed when you log off). If you click on it this message will appear giving you more information about the Festival:

Like all festivals, collectables can be found in any room except your Treehouse, they also appear much faster than Golden Tickets!

Once you have collected 25 Bracelets, travel to The Fishing Hole to see Lucy, the Friendship Festival's one and only prize giver!

To collect all Prizes, you must collect a total of 275 Friendship Bracelets. All of this year's prizes are really unique from last year's, too!

The Pandanda Land has been decorated with all kinds of stuff, from balloons to twisted trees! The heavy snow we saw last month in March Of The Snowmen has once again docked up for the Friendship Festival, I guess the forecasters were right after all!
